AUSTRIAN  NODDER ON ASH TRAY

This is an adorable Austrian nodder !!!!  A stern little man stands at the edge of an ash tray & has his index finger raised up as if to tell you NO! NO!  NO ! Don’t smoke ! All the while he shaking his head !!! I am not sure of the metal used to cast this but it was cold painted originally. There is paint loss reflecting its age but it’s charm is undeniable. Under the ashtray it is marked AUSTRIA

I have been told by a knowledgeable Ebay Appraiser that this is in fact made of something called Spelter. I Googled Spelter & it is described as a solder or other alloy in which zinc is the main constituent.
