The first thing about buying fabric online is that all monitors distort color. I try to describe colors as best I can, but you may be much more sensitive & see subtle nuances & shades that I do not.
If you are blessed with a discerning eye and if the exact shade is important it is best to buy a swatch or buy from a neighborhood store and not online. You won’t be disappointed & they’ll appreciate the business !

Scary as a sewing project to a lot of people but actually easier than you can imagine ! No raveling or serging required, seams up with a leather needle on a regular sewing machine ! All you need is leather glue or rubber cement to flatten out seams & iron everything with a dry iron & brown paper from a grocery bag for a press cloth ! You’ll wonder why you never tackled leather before !

You could even use it for home decor  !  The only limit is our imagination !  Very nice quality ! 

Remember this is leather so it does not come in widths & running yards, It is sold by the skin & each is marked on the back with the square footage predetermined by the company.  It also has on occasion cut, holes & irregular edges. This is how ALL leather is. One allows for  20% extra, beyond what a regular pattern calls for, as waste. You also plan placing seams in interesting places as soft fine skins are not large. In my picture is an insert of a skin so you can see the irregular shapes.

Conjure up the chicest, sleekest, sexiest, in your face – knock – em- dead garment you can imagine ! Or go for classic trim for lovely silks, laces & wools ! Leather has that wonderful texture that flirts equally with a romantic, classic look as well as a high voltage DANGEROUS femme fatale image !

I have 6 skins in this listing totalling approx. 48.25 sq. feet. This sells for $20.00 per sq. foot but I have it on a special for $5.00 per sq. foot on this listing !

If you would like a fabric swatch please e-mail me.There is a $5 charge per fabric swatch. My swatches are about 1.5 inches to 2.5 inches in size. My fabrics are single cuts & I can’t cut large chunks out of them as it causes problems for the person sewing. I will apply the $5 towards the purchase of that fabric.
