The first thing about buying fabric online is that all monitors distort color. I try to describe colors as best I can, but you may be much more sensitive & see subtle nuances & shades that I do not.
If you are blessed with a discerning eye and if the exact shade is important it is best to buy a swatch or buy from a neighborhood store and not online. You won’t be disappointed & they’ll appreciate the business !

Stretch Italian Silk charmeuse satin is that marvelous soft , fluid, drapey, slinky, glowing, crepey , delicious fabric you can visualize on those sexy gowns & dresses on movie stars like Jean Harlow & Carole Lombard. 

Sophisticated soft Creamy Beige !

Traditionally used for draped creations I LOVED using it with the crepe side on the front & the satin side next to the skin for classic blouses to wear with suits for my couture clients ! It felt marveous & the heft was better than a silk crepe de chine !

If you would like a fabric swatch please e-mail me.There is a $5 charge per fabric swatch. My swatches are about 1.5 inches to 2.5 inches in size. My fabrics are single cuts & I can’t cut large chunks out of them as it causes problems for the person sewing. I will apply the $5 towards the purchase of that fabric.
