ITEM DESCRIPTION :

The picture of this gorgeous silver box doesn’t do it justice. It is an oval hinged box with gilding. The top is like an orangey amber sunburst done in enamelling. This sunburst is surrounded by a gilded rope design. The silver is finished in a soft matte brushed finish with the top embellished with gilded dots.

East Indian in origin,  Beautifully made by expert craftsmen this will be a treasured heirloom that will grace your home & family for generations ! It has no makers marks on it but was purchased at a very reputable jeweler . You may have it checked out to verify this.
The sides of the box has one band each of polished silver & gilding. This is very unusual and very collectible, not one you are likely to see anywhere!!
