If you are blessed with a discerning eye and if the exact shade is important it is best to buy a swatch or buy from a neighborhood store and not online. You won’t be disappointed & they’ll appreciate the business !

 I had to good fortune to work with a Designer weaver and together we designed “One – of – a- Kind ” suits and she specially wove the hand woven fabric to make our creation. This collaboration produced the most unique items we offered in my Couture made to order collection in my Washington DC salon.

We worked with peacock feathers inlaid in fine wools, Ribbons,  patent leather strips, Silks, metallic chenilles etc. Nothing was off limits in these creations. It just had to LOOK GOOD !!!!

With handwoven fabrics there is extra care required. We used fusible interfacing on all seams & overlocked them in addition as fabrics are fragile. Sometimes we fused the whole fabric with lightweight interfacing to stabilize our delicate creations. Do ask any questions on construction or use of these unique textles.

This is truly AMAZING ! Fabulous intense matte, wooly navy blue yarns make this stunning cloth that is double striped every1.12″ apart with a silky brilliant turquoise yarn  !  Sooooooo pretty for spring & fall.  With this you also get  asolid navy to make the matching skirt.  I am also including a piece of all over stripes to use as a piping or an accent.  The weave makes an textured design that is exquisite.

I noticed there was a small cut near the selvage ar 1 end. Please cut around that.

I used simple cuts and luxurious co-ordinates to create a couture one of  a kind look. You can design your own special garment !
